Service technician for electrical engineering/control of die cutting machines (BSM) in field service (area southern Baden-Württemberg) (m/f/d)
Lifecycle Operations (LO) ensures the business success of our customers in the different life phases of our products with operational services, service parts and consumables. A global network of approx. 2,800 employees with its customer proximity and professionalism forms the basis for Heidelberg's digital strategy.

Your tasks:
  • Support of our international sales and service units  in service for packaging machines with focus on die cutters
  • New installations and commissioning as well as maintenance of the plants
  • Checking and inspection of machines
  • Customer consulting and preventive maintenance measures
  • Create fault diagnoses as well as definition and execution of service actions on site as well as remotely
  • Contributing to the improvement of services, machine functions and availability
  • Preparation of service reports, documentation and training documents for service training courses and their implementation
Our requirements:
  • Completed industrial-technical training (e.g. industrial electronics technician, mechatronics technician) ideally supplemented by completed further training as master craftsman or electrical engineer
  • First experience in field service
  • Practical experience in handling packaging machines
  • Knowledge of assemblies and their functional processes as well as basic knowledge of production technology
  • Ideally experience with control systems from Siemens, Mitsubishi and Beckoff as well as fieldbus systems
  • Structured and systematic working method
  • Responsibility and flexibility
  • Committed and confident manner as well as pronounced customer orientation
  • Good command of written and spoken English (additional language would be an advantage)
