Module developer Electrical Engineering/Project Planning (m/f)

The department  "Engineering“ within "Research & Development" at the Wiesloch-Walldorf site is responsible for project planning and supplying all printing presses with the control components required for automation, as well as for ensuring the overall function, including electronic equipment, from concept through to transfer into safe series processes

Your Tasks:
  • Electrotechnical project planning of offset and digital printing machines as well as industry solutionsAdaptation and optimization of existing control systems and functions
  • Preparation of design documents for cable assemblies and cabinet construction as well as circuit diagrams, proofs for safety considerations and quality specifications
  • Implementation of R&D content in the PLM process, such as SAP ProChange
  • Collaboration in development projects with electrical components

Our requirements:
  • Academic degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics or alternatively a technician's degree in electrical engineering with several years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of energy and control technology, EMC and design
  • User knowledge of national and international electrotechnical standards from mechanical engineering and automotive (e.g. EN60204, IEC13849, UL508A, UL775)
  • Good knowledge of English and confident use of tools used in the development environment (e.g. ELCAD, EPLAN P8, SAP)
  • Strong team and communication skills at the interfaces to various business areas and suppliers
